Day 10

Did a lot of running around this morning so I missed breakfast, didnt get to eat lunch until almost 2 so I was blahhhhhhhhhhh. Had a whole wrap instead of a half with egg salad, sprouts and olives and some sweet tea. Dinner we had pot roast, rice and peas. I'm under by 267 right now. May have a snack soon so I'm not under by too much. Will probably do a mid week weigh in tomorrow to see where I am at :)

Day 8 & Day 9

Did awesome both days!! Weighed in today, down 2.8 pounds!!! Been sticking to coffee and light yogurt for breakfast, added in a corn toaster cake. For lunch I've been doing wraps with tuna usually, added in some alfalfa sprouts and pickles. Sticking to single portions at dinner time :) Stayed under my calories yesterday by close to 200, just wasnt hungry enough to get those last 200 calories in. Today I am only under by 88, had a snack and coffee this evening which brought it up so I'm not so far under. Trying to think of some new lunch ideas. May try egg salad with olives :)

Day 7

Did awesome today!! Stayed under my calorie goal by 222 :) My app yelled at me but I figure since I went over a couple days it was better to not eat anything else.

Breakfast
Coffee with creamer & sugar
Dannon Light & Fit Yogurt

Lunch
Half of a wrap with tuna, mayo & pickles
1/2 cup cottage cheese

Snack
Banana

Dinner
Serving of kielbasa in bbq sauce over rice

Snack
Corn Toaster Cake

Did some cleaning today and burned some calories, but even without that I still would have been under. Yay!! Hoping for just as good of a day tomorrow. I have my breakfast & lunches planned out, bought some alfalfa sprouts to add to my sandwiches or wraps and salads.

Day 6

I started off the day by not eating breakfast which was a huge mistake. We went grocery shopping and then stopped for lunch at Burger King (ugh) So of course I went over my limit but only by about 160. The walking around while grocery shopping burned some calories which helped. Weight has gone down about .6 of a pound. Doing my official weigh in on Monday. Hopefully I've gone down at least a pound. 16 weeks to get down to 200 pounds. Planning to order my wedding dress at the end of April!!!

Day 5

Did bad today, went over my calories by 379 which only puts me at 1579 but I am trying to stay around 1200. I plan to burn some calories later ;) Thinking probably burn around 225 so I won't be too over my limit lol Going grocery shopping tomorrow...going to get some healthy breakfast & lunch items for myself and NO SODA!! I plan to weigh in tomorrow morning just to see where I am at :)

Breakfast:
2 eggs & 2 whole wheat toast w/butter
Coffee with sugar & half and half

Lunch:
Serving of leftover homemade mac & cheese
Diet Mountain Dew

Snack:
Serving of Bugles

Dinner:
Chicken patty on bun with mayo
Serving of tater tots w/ketchup
Coke Zero

Total of 1579 calories
Plan to engage in cardio activity later...45 minutes will = 225 calories burned :)

Day 4

Didnt do too bad, went over my 1200 calorie limit by 111. Started using myfitnesspal.com which has been a great resource. If I keep within my limit I will be down to 215 in 5 weeks according to it :) I need to somehow figure out how to add some exercise until I am able to join the gym....need ideas!! Will post later with my results from today :)

Day 2

Day 2 and 3 didnt go as well. We have not gone shopping yet so I'm stuck eating everything we already have and its not all that healthy. Plus I'm stressed right now. *sigh* I'm still sticking to drinking water though, had about half a soda yesterday only because we were on the road from noon until 930 pm and needed the caffeine. Hoping the rest of the week goes better. I need a plan of attack or something. Maybe planning out my breakfast & lunch will make it easier...I already menu plan for dinner so maybe I should look for some healthy alternatives for breakfast & lunch and plan out a meal plan for myself?

Day 1


So I am starting over with my weight loss efforts today. I started focusing on this a couple years ago, starting out at a weight of 260 and got down to about 205. Now I am back at 224 and am needing to do this again and keep going. My target weight is 150. I would like to lose 24 pounds by April. I am getting married August 19, 2012 so I would love to be able to order my dress and only be at 200 pounds, if I lose more by August I can always have it altered :)

So this is what I'm doing so far:
Lowering calorie intake to stay below 1600 calories per day
Staying away from soda and switching to water
Incorporating healthier snacks into my day
Starting membership at the gym when financially able to

Today:

Breakfast
2 pancakes
Coffee with half & half and sugar

Lunch
Lean pocket
Cup of cottage cheese
3 servings of water

Dinner
5 oz of steak
Scalloped potatoes
Double serving of broccoli
3 servings of water

Calorie intake is at 1138 so far which gives me a little extra if I decide to snack later :)
